Which ski resorts are closest to geneva airport?
Hi, There are quite a few resorts all within a 2hour drive of the airport. Chamonix, Morzine, Avoriaz, Flaine, Les Gets and Samoëns are a few that are on the French side of the Alpes. It all depends on what you are looking for in the resort. Flaine is about an hour away and offers fantastic skiing and off piste. It has a terrain park but its was not that good last season. Chamonix is in the valley next door to Flaine and you will be able to ski off onte Blanc, the highest Peak in the Alpes. Both these resorts had great snow last year as of there high elevation. Morzine and Avoriaz are right next door to each other and if you are a serious freestyle boarder or skier this is the place to hit up. Avoriaz more so. It has some of the best terrain parks in the Alpes and there are plenty of urban spots to hit at night when the lifts are closed!
