Which show helmet for equitation? And hair net?
It all depends on what shape head you have. You either fit into one brand or the other. Since you know you already fit into an IRH, then I would go with that brand. The Windsor has great reviews. A lot of people prefer traditional velvet. I do too! Otherwise I don’t know anyone with that specific helmet. My sister has an IRH that she loves though, http://www.doversaddlery.com/product.asp… . I compete in the equitation and have a charles owen. It looks a little more traditional then a helmet with a big tacky vent down the front. I don’t know if you show at stock shows but in actual USHJA equitation classes at rated shows you don’t put your hair in a bun. You tuck it up into your helmet. A bun is an old style that is now way out in the H/J world. I use beval hair nets. I have thick hair and it holds it under my helmet perfectly!
