I’m sorry, but I think you don’t have the names right. Canon does make a camera called the Canon EOS 1000D, one called the EOS 450D, and one called the EOS 50D. Nikon cameras put the “D” before the number, but they never made anything close to a “D250” or “D1000.” It would be pointless to speculate which model you are thinking of, so go here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Ca… and here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Ni… and you will see a huge list of current cameras.
