A lot of golf shops have a simulator in them where you can hit golf balls into a tarp. At my local shop the have a computerized simulator that projects on to the tarp. This simulator measures your swing speed, estimated yardage of your hit, angle of trajectory and slice, draw or straight. Hit a dozen balls in the simulator, with an employee of the shop with you.
