Which setting should i leave my 2003 Volvo s60 headlights on?
I just got a used 2003 Volvo s60. There are three settings for the headlight. The middle setting turns them off and leaves just the dashboard lights on, but the first setting and the third seem identical. They both turn on the dashboard and the headlights. Am i missing something? which setting do i use for night time? A: I am in the auto industry and I currently own a Volvo (I’ve owned 6 over the years). The far left setting is the automatic setting (off during the day, on at night). The daytime running lights are on during the day, but they can be programmed to stay off if you desire). The middle setting is the parking lights, not the daytime running lights. You use these only when you are stopped and temporarily parked. The far right is the override for the headlights. Your lights will be forced on, even though the automatic sensor doesn’t turn the lights on. My recommendation is to use the far left all the time and turn it to the right in the rain (daytime driving). I hope this help
