A. Normal (default)– collects data from each pixel once. General usage. Medium — collects data from each pixel four times and averages the results. Using this parameter to detect weak signals improves the sensitivity by reducing the background noise. This will increase the scanning time but does not increase scan file size. (Typhoon 8610, 9210, 9410, & Trio+ only – for the 10 m pixel size, the system collects data from each pixel twice and then averages the values.) High — collects data from each pixel eight times and average the results. Using this parameter to detect weak signals improves the sensitivity by reducing background noise. This will increase the scanning time but does not increase scan file size. (This parameter is not available for the 10 & 25 m pixel sizes.
