Which salad dressing recipes will compliment a creamy pasta dish?
When serving a creamy main course, I personally like the side dishes to be oil and vinegar based so that the salad feels lite in contrast with the heaviness of a cream dish. I highly recommend using a zesty Italian mix or as you mentioned, a citrus dressing would be really tasty. I’ve often used lime juice as an ingredient in salad dressing (I think it tastes better then lemon juice on a salad) and it turns out pretty good. Consider using a finely minced garlic instead of the garlic powder for a fresher flavor and to add more texture to the dressing.
