Which restriction digests are recommended for diagnostic quality control?

0

Open Biosystems provides results from KpnI, SacII, SalI, XhoI and NotI restriction enzyme digests. If fresh colonies are selected, it is recommended to verify the insert with each of the above. If individual clones are requested from the UMCCC shRNA Core Facility, this data can be provided for each clone or purified plasmid, upon request; this will not be available for plasmid-pool aliquots, however. Information on restriction digests and gel images of each of the above can be accessed on the Protocols page of this site (“Culture Conditions for Individual & 96-well Plasmid Preparations”).
