Which religion is best situated to deal with the Ecological Problems the world faces today?
Islamic principles have already been used to stem some ecological disasters in Southeast Asia. Specifically, they were used to stop Malaysian fishermen from dynamiting coral reefs in order to catch more fish. The principles involved resulted in the issuing of a Fatwah against using the dynamite and saved the coral reefs. There are other examples as well if you will look for them. Peace.
The Jewish economy as delineated in the torah and the bible is best plan because it is God’s plan on how man can be a good steward of the earth and all it contains, how to treat others as well as yourself. It is best to prevent problems, rather than have to fix them later. I’m sure other religions have good advice too but my vote is for the Jewish economy because it’s a more wholistic approach. It takes into consideration that if relationships are good, the rest will follow.
