Which RC car was faster The Tamya Boomerang or the Tamiya Bigwig?

The boomerang was sold as an entry-level 4WD kit. It didn’T have BB’s and it used a basic 540S motor. It was very light. The bigwig was presented as a more “high-end” kit, with advanced features like a technigold motor intended for 8.4V packs, rack and pinion steering and four independent oil shocks. It also featured a few decorative plastic parts like twin exhaust pipes, a large top-mounted air duct, fake V8 engine heads, etc. I guess the technigold motor and 8.4V pack made the bigwig faster out of the box, but their similar chassis should perform the same with the same motor and pack, and the use of BB’s. They shared a lot of parts. Both represent great vintage rc projects!
