All RBC Visa cards currently contain Chip and PIN technology and existing cards will be replaced based on expiry date. Not all cards will be replaced at the same time and the process will take a few years to complete given the vast number of cards currently in the marketplace. Note: RBC MasterCard cards do not currently contain Chip and PIN technology but it is expected that all cards will be Chip and PIN – enabled within the next few years.
