The Clash. In October 2008, a live recording of The Clash from the October 13th, 1982 Shea show was released. The Clash opened for The Who on both October 13th, and the previous night, October 12th. Those are the only two dates that The Who played at Shea Stadium and The Clash supported them on both dates. Source: me. I was there on 10-13-1982.
