Gamestop and EB are all selling refurbished ps3’s. You should get a refurb 60 gig it will cost 420-435 and you will get backwards compatability and 4 usb ports. I can think of no reason to waste money on an extra 20 gig of HDD space. If it gets to that point, you could always buy an external HDD.

go for the 80gb man its way better it comes wit a game motorstorm and u can play some ps2 and ps1 more memory and u have 4 usb ports flashcard readers its way better go for the 80Gb if u go for 40 i bet u will regret it wel my opinion

A 40 gb PS3 is great and all but doesnt compare to a 80 gb ps3, an 80 gb ps3 has 4 usb ports more hardrive space, can play most ps1 and ps2 games and has much more stuff!!!! so go for the 80 gb ps3!!!

if all you do is play games on it go low gig, i got the 60 gig for my photos,videos ect.. but don’t waste money on a console you use for gaming,in fact if all you do is game play hold out till after xmas it will drop in price big time.
