Which provides safer food? Locally grown or Big Box imports?
A. In the last year there have been numerous product recalls at places like Wal-Mart. There was the poison toys scare and the tainted dog food just to name two. The products these companies sell they get mainly from China, 70% in the case of Wal-Mart, where quality control and inspection is not what it is here in the US. Because they are trying to save money, they cut corners and end up importing dangerous products into our community.
