Which processor is best for gaming?
By the end of the year, those processors will be low on the totem pole… Wait a while and just watch how things progress so that you will know what to get when the time comes to make the purchase. A computer build I put together on newegg a couple of months ago is already not what I would get now and what I would get now would cost a little less than the original build. You’re really just asking too early here. However, strictly for gaming, a faster clock two core processor is better for gaming than a slower four core.
