Which Private Schools Are Closed Due to Swine Flu? Friday May 1, 2009More than a dozen private schools around the country are now confirmed closed due to the swine flu epidemic. Most of the closings are precautionary in nature and are designed to give staff a chance to disinfect and thoroughly clean school buildings and facilities. In addition many local and regional atheltic events normally held at this time of the year have been postponed. The May 2 SAT has been cancelled at some test centers. Check with your school for details. All private schools within the New Braunfels and Comal Independent School Districts in Texas are closed.
