Most all of the planets: Mercury, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all rotate around the Sun counterclockwise. The one planet to rotate clockwise around the Sun is Venus. The reason being is because ages and ages before there was any life on Earth, Venus was struck by an asteroid causing the planet to tilt. Venus has a 180 degree tilt of its axis. This tilt makes the planet appear to move counterclockwise while it is really moving clockwise!
