Which place of Bahai religion has been declared as World heritage site ?
On June 1st and 3rd, the Bahai Gardens in Haifa, Israel has just been named a World Heritage Site by by UNESCO. The much smaller Baha’i shrine in one acre are, where the founder of the Baha’i faith, Bahaullah, was domiciled after he was released from a Turkish prison in Turkish ruled Palestine, is also named by the World Heritage Committee. The most interesting fact is the Baha’i Gardens and Shrine in Haifa cost 250 million US dollars, financed entirely by members of the Baha’i faith who do not accept money from persons who are not Baha’I !!!!
