There is no one particular cause which stands out in Bill Gates’ accomplishments. Generally, his steady donations for medical care for the most challenged, is his forte. Bear in mind, Bill Gates heads the list of the world’s billionaires as published by Forbes, for the past dozen years. Of note are the others who make the top ten on that list, and it’s very possible some are richer than Bill Gates when total wealth is factored. I know of a Mexican who they say is richer, but I’m not sure what criteria they use to determine wealth. Bill Gates’ wealth is his dominance of the Microsoft Corporation, owning about half of it’s outstanding stock. Other assets of his are not important enough to consider, even though his home could be worth several million dollars. Ranked #8 on Forbes list of billionaires is a Saudi Prince, one of about 580 princes.
