Having tried to design my PCB on all three programs, I can confidently say that Eagle is by far the easiest to use. Most of the parts are already in the library, the library is easily accessible, deleting and moving components around the board is a relatively stress-free process. The only drawback is that you are restricted to a 3x4inch board because the version of Eagle offered on the ECE445 website is a demo version. Therefore, if you are expect your PCB to be smaller than 3x4inch, I recommend designing your board in Eagle. Otherwise, I would recommend designing your board in Orcad simply because more of the ECE445 TAs are well-versed in Orcad and can help you debug. The ECE Parts Store will accept files generated by any of these three programs. 3. Where should I get my PCB milled? a.
