Which organisations are not under EASA and why?
Products, personnel, organisations engaged in military, customs, police or similar services (Annex II of basic regulations). This is because sometimes the above mentioned have installations (for example surveillance equipment/search systems) which wouldn’t pass the general EASA requirements. EASA supporters ABIP (Advisory Board of International Parties) AGNA (Advisory Group of National Authorities) SSCC (Safety Standards Consultative Committee) These three groups are a part of EASA’s regulatory system. Their purpose is to support and assist EASA.
