Which options (e.g. fieldbus interfaces, additional serial com ports) are pre-assembled and which options can be ordered separately?
The system interfaces CX1000-N001, N002, N003 and N005 are preassembled at factory site and cannot be removed/added at customer site. Attempting to do this, results in damage. This is so, because these interfaces are connected to the main CPU board not only through PC104 connectors but also through additional cabling. All fieldbus master and slaves as well as all power supplies CX1100-0001, 2, 3 can be mounted and dismounted by the user, as described in the documentation. It is assumed that the units are ordered with the needed interfaces right from the beginning. Units can be sent back to Beckhoff for retrofitting additional system interfaces if needed, please approach the Beckhoff service department.
