Which one is worse, hacking into someones email or downloading illegal music?
In the eyes of the law both are illegal activities, but on a personal basis I would say that hacking into another persons email account or any other part of their system is not only illegal, it’s also immoral and I would consider that the worst of the two. People who download through P2P sites take their chances, but the music / video industry revolves around money, and their biggest argument is that they are losing royalty fees by users sharing music, videos etc. So they choose easy targets, the soft option, whereas a hacker is devious and untrustworthy and may also seek person identification to then carry out Identity Theft and Fraud, or even blackmail.
