One Touch Ultra, Ultrasmart, and Ultra 2, Accucheck Compact and Aviva, and Freestyle (regular and Flash) all require about the same amount of blood (which is least of all meters) and offer multiple testing sites so you don’t have to prick your finger. The Ultra 2 and Freestyle Flash offer the fastest results, but none of these take over 5 seconds. Ease of Use: One Touch Ultra hands down. The Accucheck and Freestyle meters can cause problems if you are noy technology savvy. Features: Accucheck Compact has a drum of strips so you don’t have to handle them.
