Which one is better – case western reserve university or university of minnesota?
They are both very good universities. Case Western is ranked higher by US News (#41 vs #71). For many schools — looking at the differences in rankings is enough. However, Minnesota is an odd schoool. Its graduate programs are way better than those of Case Western. They have several departments that are in the top ten or top twenty in the country. Their faculty are much more highly regarded than the faculty of Case Western — so why is it ranked lower? There is one reason (and only one reason) for this.
