Which office awards scholarships and what is the difference between a Need-based Scholarship and Merit Award?
The Office of financial aid awards need-based scholarships. There is no separate application process. Students are awarded based on financial need and availability of the funds. Merit Awards/Scholarships are awarded by the Rollins School of Public Health. All students who had a complete application on file by January 15th were eligible and reviewed for Merit Scholarships. Scholarships run from half scholarships to full scholarships with stipends. The Office of Enrollment Services at RSPH posts scholarship awards to student accounts each semester. 6.
