While I am open to the idea that it’s MSNBC…as a moderate myself, FOX really does seem significantly more biased. First and foremost it’s renowned for being a conservative station and yet uses the motto “fair and balance.” Ya just can’t have your cake and eat it too in this case. It’s logically impossible. Both are in the business of entertaining and making money…and I turn to FOX for my daily dose of reasoning-so-bad-it-makes-me-giggle. MSNBC is mostly boring, and as a former journalist that tells me they are indeed managing to keep out a fair amount of bias. All of that said…I think that: A – Complete unbias is impossible. We are humans and as such anything that we do is inherently biased: Even if it’s simply a bias of lack of personal information or experience. B – I don’t think that we really -want- unbiased reports because it’s not entertaining and we remember things when we feel engaged with them and we feel engaged with things we feel emotions toward.
