Which NBA player has received the most championship rings while playing on the most different teams?
Robert Horry and John Salley are the only players to win championships on three different teams: Robert Horry: 1994 & 1995 Rockets – 2000 & 2001 & 2002 Lakers – 2005 Spurs 6 titles, 3 different teams! John Salley: 1989 & 1990 Pistons – 1996 Bulls – 2000 Lakers 4 titles, 3 different teams! Shaquille O’Neal could become the third player to do so. Two other players came agonizingly close: Clyde Lovellette – Won a title in 1954 with the Lakers and 2 with the Celtics in 1963 and 1964. Between those years, he played for the Hawks, losing 2 championship series to the Celtics, in 1960 (4 games to 3) and 1961 (4-1). Connie Simmons – Won titles with the Bullets in 1948 and the Nationals in 1955. Between those years, his Knicks lost 3 championship series. In 1951, they lost to the Royals (4-3). In 1952 and 1953 they lost to the Lakers (4-3 & 4-1).
