Robin Ophelia Quivers (born August 8, 1952) is an American talk show host and Howard Stern’s long-time primary co-host on his morning radio show. She is known for her smooth, professional voice and radio persona as well as her infectious laugh. Innumerable song parodies about her considerable physical endowments have appeared over the years on the Stern show. Quivers is a target of much racial and sexual humor on the show and typically responds with equanimity and dignity. A graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, Quivers has been in the radio business since 1980, joining Stern in 1981 at DC101. Stern moved around to numerous stations, being fired or quitting, during the 1980s. Quivers stood by Stern wherever the show would take them, and continued their partnership. A graduate of the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, Quivers has been in the radio business since 1980, joining Stern in 1981 at DC101. Prior to her radio career, she was a nurse in the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of captain. Quivers has been witness to Stern’s antics, such as the time he pretended to call Air Florida to ask for a one way fare from Washington’s National Airport to the 14th Street Bridge, where an Air Florida plane had crashed just one day before (on January 13, 1982). She has also been witness to Stern’s interviews with transsexuals, Hollywood stars, porn industry stars, and many other people. She is also an avid equestrian.
