Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon, Richard Childress Racing teammates who share an aggressive style, clearly aren’t getting along. Harvick’s still seething about Gordon’s move three weeks ago at Infineon Raceway, where Gordon passed Harvick after a yellow caution flag had been issued — a move that is legal under NASCAR rules but considered unethical by drivers. NASCAR president Mike Helton made a point of saying in Saturday’s prerace driver meeting at Daytona that drivers should continue to honor the so-called “gentleman’s agreement” not to pass after a caution is issued. (The “or else” was implied.) Harvick, who is looking to win his third consecutive race at Chicagoland, seems to be keeping his semi-notorious temper in check. “A couple of years ago, I’d probably have been in victory lane choking him,” Harvick says. “But not this year.
