Which mobile (cellular) phones work best with Loadstone GPS?
The mobile phone must use the Symbian/Series60 platform. Most Symbian/Series60 phones are manufactured by Nokia; however, other manufacturers such as Siemens, Samsung and Sony Eriksson have models which use the Symbian platform. Thus far, we have only had successful reports from Nokia mobile users. Families of phones that have been officially tested with Loadstone GPS include: • Nokia N-Gage series • 1st edition Symbian/Series60 phones. • 2nd edition Symbian/Series60 phones. • 3rd edition Symbian/Series60 phones. (including E-series and N-series) Experience has shown that Loadstone GPS works on most other Symbian/Series60 1st, 2nd and 3rd Edition phones. The best way to know for sure is to try it and see or visit the Nokia website! Wikipedia also tends to have good technical specifications of Nokia phone models.
