Which method of carpet cleaning is best – Steam or Dry (Polymerisation) clean?
There are many different factors which need to be considered including: • The length of time since last clean • The degree of soiling to the carpet • Do children or pets frequent the carpet If your carpet is heavily soiled or has not been cleaned for some time then steam cleaning may be the best solution for your carpets however if you prefer a quiet clean and fast dry time then polymerisation might be the answer. This is a difficult question to answer and will depend on your specific situation. Some carpet contractors only offer a single cleaning system and will therefore degrade the other method to promote themselves.
