Which manufacturers client devices are capable of running Varadero?
Traditionally, hand held devices from LXE, Intermec, Symbol and Telxon that are CE or Palm OS based are used in the wireless transaction environment. This is due to their ability to support hardware extensions such as barcode scanners. However, Compaq, Casio, Handspring and others are introducing products that are creating new options. In any case, the client device should be selected according to the requirements of the application.
