Which makeup is better, Sheer Cover or Bare Escentuals?
I have used both and didn’t like either. Bare escentuals was better than sheer cover but both aren’t very good. Both use bismuth oxychloride which is a pretty undesirable ingredient as it can make your face itch and is well known to cause irritation, rash and in some cases acne. As far as which one is better for your skin? I would say you should look elsewhere. Sheer cover has a lot of fillers that make it more cakey and bad for your skin and bare escentuals says they do not use preservatives but flip over your mineral veil and you will see methylparabean and proplyparabean, both of these are chemical preservatives that are not good for your skin and have studies linking them to cancers. I personally use Faerie Organic Minerals, their minerals do not have any preservatives, cheap fillers or bismuth oxychloride. They are actually good for your skin.
