Which makes a better pet – a hamster or a gerbil?
Well, I’m not going to tell you which is better because I think both are, honestly. I mean, does it really matter if they’re cute or the most popular type of pets? Choose one that most likely fits your lifestyle! I’ll help you out, though. I’ll give you the goods and bads for a hamster and a gerbil and you find out if a hamster or a gerbil will be right for you, OK? Hamsters – Good Things – Hamsters are nocturnal, so if you go to school, work, friend’s house, E.T.C., you’ll have time with yourself and your hamster can sleep in it’s cage. – They come in a lot of colors, if you’re looking for a certain kind. – They don’t have tails, they have something called ‘stubs,’ for those who are afraid about having tails on a rodent, because half of rodent’s tails usually come off to prevent a disease to travel throughout the body and because their tails usually get dried up. – They don’t require much attention, such as handling in hands.
