Which make better pets male or female hedgehogs?
Both male and female hedgehogs make equally good pets. Neither boy nor girl hedgehogs tend to have a certain personality. A hedgehog’s personality depends on the hedgehog. Some people think that females tend to be friendlier but this is not true at all. When deciding whether to get a boy or a girl hedgehog you will want to consider if you are going to want more than one hedgehog in the future. If you think you might want more than one sometime in the future get a girl because girls can play together and sometimes be housed together. When I select a hedgehog I concentrate entirely on the personality of the hedgehog.
