Which Local Authority employees qualify for the Key Worker Living scheme?
Qualified teachers in grant maintained primary, secondary or special schools must: • Be permanent employees • Be unable to buy a home suitable for their household needs within reasonable travelling distance to their place of work • Have indefinite leave either to enter or to remain in the UK (excluding keyworkers from member states of the EU/EEA) • Have a combined household income that does not exceed £60k. • Be a first time buyer or existing home owner who needs larger homes to meet their household needs • Sell their existing property if they own one.
