Which litter is better, NutraSaff or SeedTec?
Both litters work extremely well in the Smart Cat Box™. NutraSaff is more expensive but has a larger seed size and a much higher oil content than SeedTec. SeedTec, in turn, is larger and has more oil content than regular safflower seeds. A larger seed size means fewer seeds will pass through the litter tray and fewer will stick to feces. More oil content means the litter will repel liquids longer and thus last longer. The higher oil content also contributes to reduced sticking to solid waste.
