Which liquid would have a higher viscosity…?
For similar temperature and pressure,the viscosity of liquid increase with molecular weight. This is because simple molecules tend to slide over each other more easily and With little resistance. If we take polymer melts which are large molecules (with large molecular weights), these have extraordinary large viscosity values. For antifreeze the viscosity is 17mPa s, for methanol 0.544mPas.
