There appears to be predictive capability with: • parts of the Fiedler model. Employee’s productivity & satisfaction can be predicted when the LPC instrument is used in situations characterized by the model’s categories I, IV, V, & VIII. • Satisfaction has been predicted successfully with the path-goal model & the use of task & individual characteristics as moderating variables.
