Which Kong toy for my Siberian Husky puppy?
I would say that you should go to Petsmart or Petco. They will have them there and it will say what sizes are meant for what size dogs. I want to say I have a medium sized one for my dog, a yellow lab thats around 55 pounds. Also, some helpful hints: Forget their treats to put inside. I have just put my own peanut butter in it and my dog LOVES it. And a good cool treat in the summer, put some dry dog food (whatever your dog eats) into a bowl of water until its soaked up and then take those pieces out when they’re soft and put them in the Kong and put it in the freezer! It takes the dog FOREVER to get it out and is good if you need to leave your dog home for a long time and feel guilty…
He/She will need a Puppy Kong until 9 months of age, they aren’t too expensive (especially when you consider that s/he could be chewing your furniture at a greater expense) A lot of shops only sell Small sized Puppy Kongs but if you have a good look around there is Kongs in Medium, Large and X-Large and then depending on his/her chewing at 9 months go for a classic or extreme depending on his/her jaw power. Also try big knot ropes, they last forever.
