I am going to buy my first KitchenAid Mixer for myself for Christmas and I am confused about which mixer I should buy. I need the best mixer for cakes. I only bake during special occasions (holidays, birthdays). I dont bake bread (but I make start when I get my new mixer). I mainly bake cakes like red velvet, pound cake, chocolate cake, etc. I am single and I don’t have any children. I mainly just bake gifts for friends and family during the holidays. I am leaning toward the Artsian or the Pro 600. Price is not really an issue. I am more interested in quality. The Artsian seems as if it will fit my needs and the Pro 600 seems a little like overkill, but I just want the best mixer for cakes.
