Which kind of cranes does Pennsylvania Crane School use for the crane operator certification practical exams?
For our crane operator certification practical exams in Pennsylvania we utilize a Simon R.O. 2863 boom truck which covers the certification test for the small telescopic boom crane (fixed cab). For the large telescopic boom crane (swing cab) certification we utilize a Grove RT 422. In our opinion this crane is one of the smoothest cranes to operate. Which results in making passing the practical exam much easier.
