Which kind of answer is provided by the DualChip GMO?
The DualChip GMO provides a qualitative answer regarding the presence or absence of a GMO event in a sample. Besides event-specific target elements for the specific detection of 11 of the 27 EU-authorized plant GMOs, screening elements which will be found in a large variety of GMOs are also assayed. The combination of screening- and plant-species elements detected on the array is used to propose the potential presence of GMOs.
