I have a >2000 miles on mine. These tires have kevlar material in the sidewalls as well as the tread area. I have see small bits of metal enter the tread face and exit the sidewall. Effectively deflecting the object from the inner tube. The “all condition” tire is a more harsh ride than what you’re used to. The Elite model is a softer riding version. Regarding similar products, the Bontrager Hardcase was once recommended to me as an equivalent. However I have real experience with the the Specialzed Armadillo. I love them and sing their praises. The ‘dillo is the original and I have read that it is unique in its construction. Google bike tire test and see if that pulls up the video of some university testing “flat resistence” Remember proper inflation and good route selection ( free of debris ) are significant contributing factors for a flat free lifestyle.
