Which is the worlds best assault rifle?
This argument is always going to come back to the AK47 and M16 platform rifle. The AK47 is simply the most reliable weapon system on the planet and is the cheapest made at that. It’s lighter and shorter than most of your other assault rifles like the G3 and FAL.The ammo is also smaller and lighter than the .308 but yet it uses the same base .308 projectile used by the FAL and G3. This is important when you have to send troops out marching. Now the M16 on the other hand and the .223/5.56 is lighter than the AK47. The M16 is also one of you more accurate assault rifles on the market. But most shots fired, either in war or on the streets by law enforcement is done inside of 75yrds. So even though the AK 47 isn’t all that accurate compared to other battle field rifles, it’s more than able to click off 75yrd shots.
