Manchester Piccadilly is the nearest train station to Chinatown. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from there and there are taxis outside the station if you prefer to go by car, and also a free Metroshuttle bus service running about every ten minutes. As you leave the train station, you should ask for Portland Street, which is a neighbouring street. You will see the Chinese shops and restaurants on Portland Street and the surrounding streets. To get to Rusholme, it would be much easier to travel by bus. You can get a 42 from Piccadilly bus station which is on Piccadilly Plaza. Again, you will see that as you travel down Portland Street.
