Which is the most lucrative career, dentistry or medicine?
In the long run you can probably make more money in specific areas of medicine like Orthopedic surgery, however the problem with these is that your malpractice insurance is going to be through the roof. On the other hand if you are an endodontist or orthodontist you will have a very income and your insurance will be next to nothing. And on top of that you will make your own hours and almost never get called in on an emergency. Overall if you are only interested in money then medicine is your deal, but if you want to enjoy the money you make and work four day weeks or less…then Dentistry is the way.
