The heaviest defeat in World Cup history is the 142 points suffered by Namibia. Australia scored those points when it defeated Namibia on 24 October 2003. Australia got 22 tries in that match and that is the most tries scored by any team in any World Cup match. I do not believe we will see such a margin in 2007, for the so called minnows are better skilled and the Top teams tend not to play all their top players against such teams.
