Which is the greater evil, Islam, Judaism? Why should the rest of the world be held to ransom?
I agree with you in that it’s insensate to kill for a “Belief”. I don’t really recall hearing about the Jews killing anyone for not believing in their Faith, in fact, I believe they do not even convert people! However, Islam, on the other hand, has had a rather bad score. It’s inception was in a War – the Battle of al Bad’r. And, ever since, its spread has also been responsible for genocides like in Iran [which was once the land of the Parsees], Afghanistan [which was Buddhist before; though it’s a little known fact] and the Hindus of India. Recently, the Muslims attacked the Buddhists in Southern Thailand. Muslims were responsible for the London Train Bombing, 9/11 and many more such atrocities. This really has most of us; even the more tolerant ones who have read Koran and understood their “Belief” like me, to ask should we let ourselves be held at ransom because these people will not change their ways?
